A tea towel from the artist’s great-grandmother’s trousseau is mended and embroidered. Rather than being discarded, its mended patches become an archive of housework through four generations of women. Using stitching techniques and materials passed down the matrilineal line, the domestic object transforms to honour these women, their work and their heritage.
